Abstract

The cylinder structure and principle of vacuum coating production line were described and the structure of cylinder was designed. First, completed the preliminary design of vacuum cylinder based on the stability theory about thinwalled cylinder; Then the finite element model of vacuum cylinder was simulated to analyze its specific deformation and stress distribution law, determine the strength and security stability of the vacuum cylinder. Finally, improved its structure in order to meet the design requirements.
