Abstract

In order to study the effect of cathodic protection potential on coating stripping, the protection potential was improved , the on potential and instant-off potential data of buried pipline were collected, the distance after coating stripping was measured. The results show that when the instant-off potential is-1 . 2 V, the on potential and instant-off potential decrease with the increase of distance, but at some damage points this rule can not be met to the absolute value of the on potential and instantoff potential . The stripping distance for different anticorrosive coating pipelines is not the same.

Key words
