Abstract

A flux of low-temperature enamel glaze was introduced, with which the sintering temperature of the enamel was put down to 800℃. The effects of sintering temperature and holding time on the acid corrosion resistance, impact resistance and thermal shock resistance of enamel coating were investigated. The experiment results showed that the acid corrosion resistance, impact resistance and thermal shock resistance had all reached to the national superior product standard, and the acid corrosion resistance and impact resistance were improved with the increase of sintering temperature and holding time. At the end, the effect of thermal conduction and thermal stress on enamel coating stability was investigated with the commercial software ANSYS.
