Abstract

Aluminum alloy has been widely used in various fields in recent decades because of its high strength, low density and excellent machining performance. Due to the low corrosion potential and the lapping phenomenon with dissimilar metals, aluminum alloy is tended to be used as anode, thus accelerating the corrosion. This galvanic corrosion problem is universal and needs to be solved in depth. The common methods used to study the galvanic corrosion of aluminum alloy in China and internationally were introduced, and the new research techniques represented by microelectrochemical measurement and digital simulation were discussed.

Key words
