Abstract
The work aims to improve the adhesion, surface strength and wear resistance of super hydrophobic coatings, sim-plify the preparation process and solve the problem of environmental protection. The SPK adhesive and hydrophobic silica na-noparticles were used as the basic raw materials to prepare the super hydrophobic coating with self-adhesive properties by simple spraying process. The wettability, adhesion, wear resistance and self-cleaning effects of the coating were evaluated by the contact angle measurement, the adhesion test, the wear resistance test and the self-cleaning effect test. The scanning electron microscope (SEM) was used to analyze the morphology and elemental composition of the coating before and after spraying. The contact angle of the coating is 150.5°. Under the action of the electronic universal testing machine, the maximum tensile shear strength of the coating sample adhered with glass was 1.45 MPa, and that of coating sample adhered with polishing and smooth 45 steel sample was up to 1.69 MPa, and the adhesion was good. Even after the force coating was dragged on the sand paper for 120 cm, the coating surface was still moistening. The wettability was still super hydrophobic. The photo with a coating was smooth without affecting the clarity of the photo. The mixed pollutant dropped on the surface of the picture was difficult to infiltrate the surface and could only flow along the surface. The coating has super hydrophobic property and strong adhesion to the substrate and the adhesion force of the coating is related to the adhesive force of the glue. If the glue with stronger adhesive force is used, the adhesive force of the coating can still be improved. The coating has good wear resistance and stable super hydrophobic effect. Because of the super hydrophobic characteristics of the coating, the mixed contaminants on the surface of the coating are difficult to infiltrate into the substrate, which can protect the surface of the substrate well. Compared with other similar research, the environmental pollution due to the introduced crosslinker/modifier will be solved.
