目的 偏苯三甲酸酯（TMT）因较差的黏温性能，限制了其在润滑行业中的应用。将聚戊内酯（PVL）嵌入到TMT分子结构中进行化学改性，显著提高TMT基础油的黏温性能。方法 以钛酸四丁酯（TBT）为引发剂，在60 ℃下引发δ-戊内酯（DVL）开环聚合生成四臂星型聚戊内酯（4-PVL），然后在酸性条件下水解得到羟基端线型聚戊内酯（L-PVL），再与偏苯三甲酸酐（TMA）反应生成嵌入式聚合物中间体，最后与异丁醇完全酯化得到PVL改性TMT润滑油基础油。通过1H-NMR、FTIR、TG、Mass spectrum等测试手段对改性基础油进行分析。通过ASTM标准对改性基础油进行黏度、黏度指数、倾点测试，并通过扫描电子显微镜对磨痕形貌进行分析。结果 改性TMT润滑油基础油在黏温性能、热稳定性能、抗磨性能等方面都优于未改性基础油。改性TMT基础油的黏度指数随着嵌入链长度的增加而增大，4聚PVL改性TMT基础油的黏度指数从8上升至103；同时，嵌入聚合物增强了基础油的热稳定性，起始氧化分解温度从203 ℃上升至250 ℃。此外，改性基础油的抗磨性能也有所提高，平均磨斑直径从1330 μm降低至1028 μm。 结论 实验结果表明，以PVL为嵌入链，通过化学手段对TMT基础油进行改性，实现了改性TMT基础油品质及性能显著提升的目的。通过性能与成本优化，确定4聚PVL改性TMT基础油的综合性能最优。

The work aims to embed polyvalerolactone (PVL) soft chain into the structure of TMT in order to improve the viscosity-temperature performance of TMT base oil in view of that the application of trimellitate (TMT) in the lubricating oil industry is seriously restricted due to its low viscosity-temperature performance. δ-valerolactone (DVL) ring-opening polymerization was initiated at 60 ℃ to form four-arm star polyvalerolactone (4-PVL) with tetrabutyl titanate (TBT) as an initiator. Then, hydroxyl terminated linear polyvalerolactone (L-PVL) was obtained by hydrolyzed under acidic condition. The reaction between L-PVL and trimellitic anhydride (TMA) produced an embedded polymer intermediate, which was esterified with isobutanol to obtain PVL modified TMT lube base oil. Modified base oil was analyzed by 1H-NMR, FTIR, TG and Mass spectrum. The viscosity, viscosity index and pour point of modified base oil were tested by ASTM standard and the wear scar morphology was analyzed by SEM. The modified TMT base oil was superior to unmodified one in performances of viscosity temperature, thermal stability and anti-wear. The viscosity index of modified TMT base oil increased with the increase of embedded chain length, and the viscosity index of the 4-PVL modified TMT increased from 8 to 103. At the same time, the thermal stability of the base oil was enhanced by the embedded polymer, and the initial oxidation decomposition temperature increased from 203 ℃ to 250 ℃. In addition, the anti-wear performance of the modified base oil was also improved, and the average wear spot diameter reduced from 1330 μm to 1028 μm. The quality and performance of TMT base oil are improved significantly by modifying TMT base oil by chemical means with PVL as embedded chain. Through optimization of performance and cost, it is determined that modified TMT base oil shows optimal comprehensive performance with PVL (n=4).
