Abstract: |
Objective To investigate the microstructure, composition and properties of restraining Micro-arc oxidation film on AZ80 . Methods The microstructure and the resistance to corrosion and wear of ceramic film formed in alkaline electrolyte containing amine by restraining Micro-arc oxidation were studied by SEM, EDS, polarization curve and friction-wear test. Results The results showed that the films which were more resistant to corrosion consisted of two layers, a dense layer and a loose layer. The coefficients of friction of the loose layer and the dense layer were 0 . 2 and 0 . 8 , respectively. Conclusion The corrosion rate of magnesium alloy was reduced, and the resistance to corrosion and wear of magnesium alloy was improved by restraining Micro-arc oxidation. |
