Abstract:
      Nickel-phosphorus amorphous coating was deposited on the hollow microspheres with the average diameter of 2μm by means of electroless plating. The electromagnetic performance and reflectivity were measured in order to study the microwave absorbing properties of the material. The results show that the coercivity of the electrolessed nickel-phosphorus hollow microspheres reaches 343.08 Oe,and the modified hollow microspheres belong electromagnetic loss materials. Absorbing materials made of the modified hollow microspheres are prepared, the minimum reflectivity of the absorbing coating with the thickness of 3 mm reaches- 20.81 dB at 4.32 GHz;The reflectivity of the coating with the thickness of 1.5 mm is less than- 10 dB between 8.56 GHz and 10.08 GHz.
