Abstract: |
In order to improve the aluminum alloy against the corrosion of seawater, the ceramic coating on the surface of aluminum alloy with the method of thermo-chemical reaction was prepared. The best ratio of slurry composition was determined. The coating surface morphology, phase composition and corrosion resistance were investigated through SEM, XRD, 3.5%(mass fraction)NaCl solution and real sea water immersion tests. In addition, the thermal chemical reaction mechanism of the ceramic coating was analyzed. The results show that ceramic coating obtained uniform and compact structure, is the composite ceramics, coated with the metal surface is mainly chemical combination, can effectively extend the aluminum alloy in the life under the sea. |
