Abstract: |
4Cr13 arc spraying coatings were prepared on QSTE420TM steel which was preprocessed by three surface pretreatment processes, such as sandblasting, sandblasting and spraying base coating, sandblasting and electrospark roughening. Microstructure and fracture morphology of coatings were investigated, microhardness and bonding strength were also tested. And the effects of the three pretreatment processes on microstructure and properties were compared. The results show that 4Cr13 coatings display the typical layer structure. Different surface pretreatment processes have significant effect on bonding strength of the coatings. Spraying base coating after sandblasting can make 4Cr13 coatings have the best comprehensive performance. |
