Abstract: |
In order to improve the oxidation resistance and electromagnetic parameters of the superfine iron fiber, SiO2coating and H2reduction processes were introduced to modify the superfine iron fiber. The coating thickness, resistivity, electromagnetic parameters, absorbing performance, oxidation resistance etc were measured and analyzed. SiO2 coating with average thickness of 3 nm can be achieved by optimized process, whichinsulates the surface of the fiber, and enhances the absorbing performance and oxidation resistance of the fiber. H2reduction of the SiO2coated fiber reduces the impurity content prominently when the sinter of the fiber is prevented by the SiO2coating. |
