| Based on cracks occurred on last blades of 135MW steam turbines in one-year operation time, anti-erosion surface treatments used in last blades of steam turbine were introduced. Protecting treatments in last blades of steam turbine included partial overlay and surface quenchhardening. The characteristic, reliability, performance requirements and testing methods of protecting coatings were discussed. The development trend of protecting treatments was put forward as well. |
