Comparing with many metals or alloy coatings, the composite coatings have much performance, such as the good wear resistance, the anti-high-temperature oxidation performance and the good electric contact and so on. And the nickel-base composite coating is one of the most early researched and most widespread applied composite coatings. Recent progress in the research on nickel-base composite coatings prepared by electroplating technology was reviewed. These composite coatings include corrosion resistance and protection-decoration compound coating, wear-resisting and reducing friction compound coating, anti-high-temperature oxidation compound coating, catalyzing function compound coating. The deposition mechanism and application of nickel-base compound coating were summarized |
