Abstract:
      The corrosion study methods, which consisted of metallograph observation , X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy ( XPS) and electrochemistry method, were carried out to investigate the effect of neutral solution, sulfur and acid corrosion for tinplate in different temperature. It was shown that the film consists mainly of Cr( OH) 3 and Cr203. The corrosion resistance of chromate passivation tinplate in neutral solution was reinforced, and the corrosion rate for sulfur and acid declined with the increasing of passivation temperature.
