Abstract: |
In order to improve wear resistance and anti-corrosive abilities , environmental friendly Ni-P-diamond composite electroless plating coating was fabricated on the surface of cast aluminium. The influence of key factors such as temperature and stirring on diamond content in composite coating and microhardress was investigated. The wear resistance and anti-corrosive abilities were measured at the same time. The composition of the coating was analysized by EDX. The results show that Ni-P-diamond composite electroless plating coating can improve effectively the wear resistance and anti-corrosive abilities for cast aluminium. The composite coating s wear resistance is better than Ni-P coating, but the anti-corrosive abilities are worse. There must be a little time before diamond particles in coating surface are rooted into matrix metal. Both temperature and stirring rate or style take action to change the time. |
