Abstract: |
To make clear the effect of different alloy elements in the deposited metal, 12 species of basic coated electrode were prepared, and the chemical constitution and hardness of their surfacing welded metal were tested, then the alloy transfer character of C, Ti, Nb and V, and their effects on the hardness were discussed. It is indicated that the transfer of different alloy elements influences each other, the transfer efficiency of carbon is unstable while that of Nb and V are more stable. The C and V in the welding metal has strong solid solution strengthening effect, then can increase the hardness, but the raising of Ti and Nb content decreases the hardness due to the formation of too much carbides. |
