Abstract: |
The broken mechanism of boiler tubes is summarized. The hot corrosion and high temperature erosion are recognized as being cause of utility boiler tube failures. The use of coating which can control hot corrosion and high temperature erosion is effectively, such as metallic, ceramic and metal ceramic composite coating. There are some methods that are plasma spraying, arc-spraying and hypersonic flame spraying technology to prepare alloy coating with high erosion and corrosion resistance. The recent research progress of high Ni-Cr alloy and characteristics of spraying are introduced in detail. Finally, the research progress and potential application of nano surface technology is prospected in this field. |
