Abstract:
The influence of the component of the gold salt, the electroplating temperature and the speed rate of the wire cathode on the current efficiency were researched in order to control the thickness of the coat better. The composition of the fracture was analysed by Oxford X-Sight energy spectrometer and the patterns and the thickness of the fracture were determined by JSM-6460 scanning electronic microscope. The results of the tests indicate that the current efficiency is effected by the gold salt component little and by the electroplating temperature and the speed rate of the wire cathode heavy, and the thickness of the coat is related to the speed rate of the wire cathode only with the defined current density of the cathode while the electroplating temperature is defined. When the electroplating temperature is 45 degree centigrade, the cathode current density is 2.9 A•dm-2, the speed rate of the wire cathode is 3.2m•min-1, the thickness of the coat is 1.0μm.
