Abstract: |
The work aims to obtain low glossiness and low emissivity compatible functional coatings by significantly reducing glossiness of polyurethane (PU)/Al composite coatings while not significantly increasing infrared emissivity of the coating, and. PU/Al composite coatings were modified by graphene, the effects of graphene modification on microstructure, glossiness, infrared emissivity and mechanical properties of the coatings were investigated systematically, and finally the causes were discussed. When the addition amount of graphene (the percentage it accounts for aluminum powder mass) was below 6%, graphene modification could significantly reduce the glossiness of coating, but it had no obvious effect on the emissivity of coating. When the addition amount of graphene was 4%, graphene modification could endow the coatings with low glossiness and emissivity simultaneously (1.0 and 0.245, respectively). The mechanical properties of coatings were not sensitive to the graphene modification, and hardness, adhesion and impact strength of the coatings before and after modification could reach 3H, Grade 1 and 50 kg•cm, respectively. The graphene modification can significantly reduce glossiness of the PU/Al composite coating. When proper amount of graphene is added, the coatings can have low glossiness and low emissivity properties simultaneously, so as to realize infrared and visible light compatible stealth of the coating. |
