Abstract:
      Static conductive anticorrosive paints are of both electrostatic conductivity and corrosion resistance. It can be overlaid on the surface of materials to eliminate static electricity, weaken electromagnetic interference and prevent corrosion. In recent years, with the rapid development of petrochemical industry, electronics industry and aerospace industry, hazards caused by static and corrosion are more and more significant. Thus, static conductive anticorrosive paints have drawn extensive attention. China has a late start in the field of paints. Commercially available electrostatic paints are of general corrosion resistance, and anticorrosive paints are of unsatisfactory electrostatic conductivity. Hence balancing electrostatic conductivity and corrosion resistance is the key to develop electrostatic conductive anticorrosive paints. Electrostatic conductivity mechanism and corrosion resistance mechanism of several paints were expounded. Application status of electrostatic conductive anticorrosive paints in the field of oil storage tank anticorrosion was analyzed. Finally, the prospect of electrostatic conductive anticorrosive paints was discussed. Researching and developing paints featuring in high performance, low cost, environmental protection and multi-functionalization was proposed to be development trend of electrostatic conductive anticorrosion paints. In addition, intensive study on electrostatic conductivity mechanism and corrosion resistance mechanism, and establishment of corrosion life prediction model were also beneficial to R&D and engineering application of paints.
