Abstract: |
In order to improve the interfacial effort between nano-SiO2and epoxy and to promote the dispersivity of nano-SiO2in it, the nano-SiO2was grafted with polystyrenemaleic anhydride through chemical grafting modification. Infrared spectra and nuclear magnetic resonance were used to characterize the structure of grafted nano-SiO2,while transmissionelectron microscopic and dynamic light scattering were used to study the dispersivity of grafted and un-grafted nano-SiO2. The experimental results show that the grafting chainswere grafted on the surface of nano-SiO2through chemical bonds, which leads to the improvement of its dispersivity. The optimum reaction conditions were gained by optimizing the reaction factors such asinitiator concentration, monomer concentration, reaction time and initiator lead time. |
