Abstract: |
Direct current magnetron sputtering method was used to initialize niobium layer on the surface of Zr-4. Then, laser alloying, electronic beam alloying and ion implantation methods were applied to add Nb in the surface of 2r4. The microstructure and performance was studied, it was found that the distributing of niobium is nonuniform. After executing heat treatment, the polarization curves of the alloys have been studied. The results shown that the β-2rs forming in the electronic beam alloying cumbered the diffusing of oxygen, and it improved the corrosion resistance of zirconium alloys. After the Nb ion implanted in Zr-4, 2r02 and NbN were formed, at the range of l x 1017 t0 3 x 1017g/cm2 , with the dose increasing, the capability of corrosion resistance was improved. |
