| Adopting coating method can achieve the improvement of materials absorbing capability, currently, which is a hotspot problem and of military value. The surface of ultra-tiny metal nickel powder，which is one microwave absorbent, is inorganically treated in the liquid. The coated nickel powder is characterized by appearance, IR, XRD and its behaviors of dispersion, wetness, acid resistance and oxidation resistance are investigated. The result indicates that the surface of nickel powder is coated by amorphous membrane of SiO2. Nickel powder coated with SiO2 has better hydrophobe and dispersion behavior. Its acid resistance and oxidation resistance are improved. |
