1) Published >50 papers in journals including Nature Communications, Nano Energy, Corrosion Science, Tribology International, etc. (21 of which are first authors, and 3 of which are invited reviews);
2) Published 2 patents with real industrial applications;
3) Invited Guest Editor for Coatings (2021-2022) and Invited Reviewer for Elsevier book proposal Nanocomposite Manufacturing Technologies (2020)
4) Invited Reviewer for journals: Applied Physics Letters, Journal of Applied Physics, Results in Physics, Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry, Plant Physiology and Biochemistry, Journal of Materials Science & Technology, Journal of Materials Research & Technology, Materials Characterization, Results in Materials, Materials Today Communications, Materials Letters, Materials, Tribology Letters, Coatings, Applied Sciences, and Symmetry.
5) Research results and outcomes:
a. Measured and understood the functional properties in metal nanocomposites with the consideration of multi-scale electron behavior (down to the temperature of 2K) for the first time (APL, 2020; JMS&T, 2021 [Under review]);
b. Pioneered in understanding the long-standing (for 80 years) cracking causes in metal nanocomposites (e.g., hot cracking and stress corrosion cracking of AA7075 nanocomposites) (Nature Communications, 2019; Corrosion Science, 2020, 2021);
c. Developed surface metrology tools with ultra-high resolution and response speed for friction and wear detection in metal nanocomposites (Tribology International, 2020);
d. Proposed new phonon-electron interaction theory for interfacial triboelectrification by static electron measurement (JAP, 2017; Friction, 2019).
