His research is multidisciplinary and spans from chemistry and materials science through to corrosion, electrochemistry and biomaterials, and shows promise in benefitting the wider community. Dr Chen’s research aims to provide functional characteristics the surface of light metals to satisfy a large range of engineering applications in automotive, 3C and biomedical industries.
